GETTING HERE
By Car
Ridgefield is located in Fairfield County, Connecticut, right on the border of New York’s Westchester County. It is a lovely scenic drive from points South and West via I-684, I-84, and Route 7. If you are driving up from the East, the town is located close to the Merritt Parkway and the I-95 corridor. Ridgefield is also about an hour and twenty-minute drive from New York City, a half-hour drive from Westport and Norwalk, and 45 minutes from Greenwich.
By Bus
Ridgefield is a wonderful town to visit with your group of friends, school or organization group. By Train
Metro-North Harlem Line
The Metro North train runs regularly into Katonah, NY, which is about a 30-minute drive from downtown Ridgefield. Uber as well as taxi services are available at the Katonah station. There is also a Ridgefield-Katonah Shuttle that is operated daily by HART Transit and runs to the center of town.
By Plane
Ridgefield is a short 10-minute ride to the Danbury Municipal Airport. The Westchester County Airport is about a 40-minute drive from Ridgefield via I-684. For international travel, Ridgefield is equidistant between Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, CT and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
