Water Of Life
Sema lives in Babadağ district of Denizli. She is married and has a child. As in many houses in Babadağ, they have to be evicted from the house they live in due to landslides. Those who leave their homes will be allocated a mass housing flat (an apartment) in Denizli. Sema thinks that if she leaves home, her bond with her mother will decrease. She is torn between environmental pressure and the bond she established with her mother.
About the Director
Sündüs Gören was born in 1987 in Denizli. She graduated from Bilgi University Faculty of Communication - Cinema and Television Department in 2011. Since 2010, she has been working as an assistant director in television programs, commercials, series and feature films. Water of Life is the first short film she directed and scripted.
